Saks Want It!
An oldie but a goodie. The year was 2009 and “Occupy Wall Street” was raging. What’s a luxury retailer to do? Instead of going quiet, Saks went bold—and slightly subversive. They turned to renowned street artist Shepard Fairey and commissioned a protest-inspired campaign for advertising aimed at the 1%. With bold graphics and copy (mine) we set out to start a revolution (if only a fashion one).
